Alts and LABEL are looking for a Accounting & Finance Intern
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting and Finance Intern distinguished by their excel capabilities, critical thinking, and professional integrity. This is a limited scope internship in New York, with hourly pay, and an opportunity to turn into a full time role upon completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting and a desire to learn.
**This is a part time position where the individual hired would earn $17 an hour**
Responsibilities
- Aid in budget preparation and monitoring by gathering data, performing analysis, and generating reports.
- Help maintain organized and accurate financial records.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including tax filings, collections, and partnership invoicing.
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions.

Experience
- Currently in the Final Year of a 4 year relevant degree program, masters program, or a recent graduate of one required.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills required.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn required.
- Proficiency in English required.
Duration
This internship will last between 3-6 months.
